You must also address your questions through <a href=\"https:\/\/app.sli.do\/event\/umcjyzql\/live\/questions\">sli.do<\/a> and participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/\">Twitter<\/a> during the event (hashtag <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23OpenScienceUC3M&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#OpenScienceUC3M<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Open Science represents a new approach to the scientific process based on cooperative work and new ways of diffusing knowledge by using digital technologies and new collaborative tools. The idea captures <strong>a systemic change<\/strong> to the way science and research have been carried out for the last fifty years: shifting from the standard practices of publishing research results in scientific publications towards sharing and using all available knowledge at an earlier stage in the research process.<\/p>\n<cite>(Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World, EC, 2016)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Here you are some useful links to contextualize the Workshop:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/openscience\/pdf\/integrated_advice_opspp_recommendations.pdf\">OSPP-REC: Open Science Policy Platform Recommendations<\/a>. The set of recommendations by stakeholder groups addressing the main 8 challenges of the European Open Science Agenda.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/publications.europa.eu\/resource\/cellar\/3213b335-1cbc-11e6-ba9a-01aa75ed71a1.0001.02\/DOC_2\">Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World<\/a> (2016). The book from the EC lead by Commissioner Moedas that summarizes the Open policies of European Science.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/openscience\/pdf\/os_skills_wgreport_final.pdf\">Providing researchers with the skills and competencies they need to practise Open Science<\/a> (2017). High level expert group report on skills, propsing recommendations to ensure that researchers in Europe have appropriate skills and competences to practice Open Science.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/openscience\/pdf\/os_rewards_wgreport_final.pdf#view=fit&amp;pagemode=none\">Evaluation of Research Careers fully acknowledging Open Science Practices<\/a> (2017).
